John Cena has declared that he is giving $500,000 to help battle the California rapidly spreading fires.
The 42-year-old entertainer and expert wrestler is featuring in the new Paramount Pictures motion picture Playing With Fire, in which he plays a fireman.
To check First Responder Day, John chose to show proactive kindness and respect the genuine First Responders who are engaging the flames in California at the present time. He tweeted, "I'm asking that today on #FirstRespondersDay we do all that we can to enable the individuals who to chance their lives to ensure all of us."
John requested that Paramount Pictures pick a philanthropy to get the gift and the studio picked the LAFD Foundation and the California Fire Foundation.
"Two staggering decisions. @LAFDFoundation and @CAFireFound … in the interest of Paramount and the cast of #PlayingWithFireMovie, an aggregate of $500K is coming your direction. Much obliged to you for what you do. Help is on the way!!!" John tweeted accordingly.
